- For longer stay, you need to get a visitor's visa on any Philippine consulate on your country or to the Philippine Embassy in Manila.
- Passports should be valid 6 months beyond planned exit.

For Balikbayans: (including former Filipinos)
-Free one year visa (including spouse and kids but only when they're traveling with you, otherwise they need to get a visa)

  Money/Credit cards:

-Exchange for Philippine peso at currency exchange counter at the airport or other local banks.
1USD = 50PHP (approximate)
-Not all establishments accept credit cards but you can get peso by withdraw money from local ATM using your credit card/debit card. It is advisable to use Hongkong Bank ATM machines as other machines place a daily limit on the amount of money you can withdraw.
