For tourists:
- Free entry if staying a maximum of 21 days
- For longer stay, you need to get a visitor's visa on any Philippine consulate on your country or to the Philippine Embassy in Manila.
- Passports should be valid 6 months beyond planned exit.
For Balikbayans: (including former Filipinos)
-Free one year visa (including spouse and kids
but only when they're traveling with you, otherwise they need to get a visa)

How to get there: |
From Manila or Cebu: There are 2 options:
Via Kalibo-Take connecting flight to Kalibo (travel time is approx 45 min). From Kalibo airport, air-conditioned vans and buses for hire will take you to the Caticlan Jetty Port, where boats are stationed to take you to the island.
Via Caticlan- Take connecting flight straight to Caticlan. Motorized tricyles will take you from Caticlan airport to the jetty port, 3 minutes away.From Caticlan jetty port, boat ride will take 15-20 minutes to get to Boracay. |

Money/Credit cards: |
-Exchange for Philippine peso at currency exchange counter at the airport or other local banks.
1USD = 50PHP (approximate)
-Not all establishments accept credit cards but you can get peso by withdrawing money from local ATM using your credit card/debit card. It is advisable to use Hongkong Bank ATM machines as other machines place a daily limit on the amount of money you can withdraw. However, there are only 2 ATM machines( BPI and Metrobank) at Boracay and each has a transaction limit of $100.
